In 2011, we partnered with UMI for their annual Rhythm & Style fashion show in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. UMI wanted to integrate cause marketing into their production. We secured Chris Collins, a famous international model who has worked for more than 20 years with Ralph Lauren Polo brand, to come down to Tortola and represent UMI and their mission to bring awareness to domestic violence, an issue impacting many women in the region. We handled the talent, speaking points, press visits and promotion. Chris did his thing strutting down the stage to close out the highly anticipated fashion show, signifying that men can have a voice against domestic violence.
